On Tuesday 5^th February, the Parliament of Uganda passed the long- awaited Traditional and Complimentary Medicines Bill, 2019. The Uganda National Health Policy 2000 recognizes the role of traditional medicine in the healthcare delivery system as a step towards improving health service delivery in Uganda.
