NCRI’s legal status streamlined and its institutional and human capacity developed.NCRI was set up with the aim of justifying therapeutic claims on TM from THPs.  Since then, a number of changes and opportunities have come up requiring NCRI to focus into areas of research, product development and promotion of Herbal Medicine. In order to achieve its goal, NCRI needs to streamline its legal status to allow it expand its mandate.  Similarly, the set up and operations of NCRI need to be streamlined to ensure that it has sufficient capabilities and resources.
