Standardized Herbal Medicine Products, Therapies and Services Researched, Developed and promoted

There is currently an increase of Herbal products in the Ugandan market.  Some of them are locally produced while others are imported from countries like China, South Africa, India, Malaysia and others.  People dealing in these products make many therapeutic claims, often not proven for their quality, safety and efficacy. It is therefore important for NCRI  based on its expertise and experience to research and develop Herbal products with proven therapeutic value in collaboration with the various stakeholders including; traditional health practioners, researchers, and other health care providers.
